blog break

Sorry all - I'm going on a little blog break, hiatus, leave of absence, whatever you want to call it, I'm going there, probably just for a few weeks. Signing out....

About me

I'm an Aussie - I met a tall, dark and handsome Canadian long ago when I was 19. I brought him home after a couple of years of living in Canada and now we live in Sydney with our three lovely girls. I am not crafty. I scrap to remember the details. I scrap to pass on information to my kids, and their kids. My purpose is to show the photos and record the stories, simply. Love it. My better half

My canadian, complete opposite to me, emotional, kind and very sweet, a hopeless romantic, very funny, not handy, so dependable, looks after me, a perfect match (except for the handy bit)

Girl #1 - aged 11

Friendly, extrovert, loves lots of attention, huge show off and drama queen and can tell a story for 30 minutes without taking a breath. Does ballet and gymnastics, and can be found upside down most of the time. Plays the sax and likes music. Organised yet easily distracted. The queen of list making (then promptly losing the list!). Kind, pleasant and insanely messy..

Girl #2 - aged 9

The wild one, the most affectionate one, the sweetest one, the naughtiest one. The social butterfly, the one with the mischevious twinkle in her eye. Needs many hugs a day. Has seen the ER department the most due to her abilty to play really HARD. Loves any rough team sport. Great sense of humour. Creative and a little nuts.

Girl #3 - aged 7

Patient, calm, very quiet, sweet. Fiercly independent. Focused. Serious yet funny. Artistic. Athletic and a little gymnast. Soft and cuddly and still very much the baby. Would be quite happy to snuggle her Mum all day. Organised. Very easy to manage, though can push her sisters buttons when necessary!
