total simplicity

Here's another super super super simple layout that I put together a few weeks ago. It is about my daughter's first real best friend - one that she made for herself at preschool. The girls get on fabulously and ones first real friend from the outside world really should be scrapped, shouldn't it?

I asked Lucy what she liked about her friend and included her answer as part of my journaling.

Incidentally, this little girls mother, Vicki, found out from a mutual acquaintance that I am a scrapper and wanted to see what the heck that actually means. So after throwing an album in her direction for a few days, Vicki is now a full blown scrapbooker, and whats more, has even turned two of HER friends into scrapbookers. They all came to my place for a few beginners lessons and have fallen in love with this hobby. Really, who wouldn't?

We will convert the whole world, one scrapbooker, by one.

  2. I can't believe (well I can because you're such a great artist, but..) how beautiful your pages are!!! I'm a scrapper too. I am a Creative Memories consultant just to help support my habit. I like the photography tips. I'm just starting on learning about photography. I got a new fancy camera last March. I've got to figure out how to sign up for your Friday posts!

  7. Love the page and the pink pp. A whole world fo scrappers is on my agenda too. I said something similar yesterday about the fundraising we are doing, Hills Angels will change lives one family at a time. Will share story on my blog once I have a button to share. Just launched website yest. Sorry totally off topic. Friends are what make the world work, and it is so important! Side question your butterfly punch, the lady in my LSS asked if it was a whale of a punch or smaller? Whale of a punch looks like the stampin up punch u used in this LO I am assuming it is smaller. Thanks again Shannon

  8. Are we supposed to insert 'evil laugh' at the end of that last sentence? Only a few of my girlfriends scrap and no other family members - sadly, those who don't have a perception that scrapbooking is too creative for them and takes too much time, I mean really, something that consumes a part of every day too much time!LOL Feeling inadequate on the creative part is a worry though - really, YOUR words and YOUR pictures can never be inadequate in my opinion. Sorry, I've digressed - little friends are very scrapworthy!
